The research entitled «Use of DCIM Racktables as a tool to optimize the Management of the Equipment that make up the DC of an Electric Company in the city of Tacna, 2019», corresponds to a thesis work to opt for the title of Systems Engineer from the Private University of Tacna.
The objective of the investigation is to determine the influence of a DCIM Racktables as a tool in the management of Data Center equipment of an electric company in the city of Tacna.
For this, a basic type methodology is applied, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional and explanatory design, applied in an electric power company in the city of Tacna that has a Data Center, on which the measurement of the influence of the DCIM Racktables as a tool to improve data center equipment management.
The investigation allows us to conclude that the design and implementation of a DCIM Racktables as a tool allows to improve the management of Data Center equipment of an electric company in the city of Tacna, in this case from the application of the DCIM Racktables. This was verified at a statistical level given the level of significance calculated below 0.05, which proves at a quantitative level that the Data Center Management is extremely important to generate benefits at information management levels of the electric company of the city of Tacna.
